Counselling has always been a strong passion of mine. I have been working in the field of mental health and support-work for over 7 years. Each year has reinforced my love for this work and my belief that this profession is where I was meant to be.

My approach is always to be present, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I believe that I learn as much from my clients as they would learn from me. I also believe that beyond the education, the training, or the credentials that a counsellor may have, the most effective means of growth and positive change is shared human connection and a strong alliance with the client.

I was born and raised in Calgary and I am familiar with the ups and downs this city has experienced and the issues that affect all Albertans.

In my spare time, I am an avid table-top gamer, film-buff, and writer. I love to cook and I am always looking forward to the next camping trip. Before I chose to work in the field of mental health I was also a member of several music bands and a solo musician for over 15 years. Music has always been an essential part of my life.

Whenever I catch sight of others,
by thinking, ‘It is through them,
that I will reach awakening,’
I will look with sincerity and love.
